研究领域
微孢子虫是一类专性细胞内寄生的单细胞真核生物,目前认为其属于真菌界。微孢子虫可以感染几乎所有动物,严重危害畜牧渔业生产,同时也是人类健康的潜在威胁。目前对于微孢子虫病还没有很好的治疗方法,缺乏有效安全的微孢子虫化学治疗药物。本研究团队以感染家蚕、对虾与哺乳动物的微孢子虫作为研究对象,寻找鉴定可用的微孢子虫药物靶点,指导微孢子虫药物研发。我们也建立了高效的微孢子虫拮抗药物评估平台,筛选开发微孢子虫病的候选治疗药物。同时,本团队也尝试利用基因编辑技术,对微生物进行改造以实现生物活性物质生产及性质研究。
学术贡献
通过结构改造或者老药新用等策略,我们筛选到了多种候选微孢子虫病治疗药物。同时也与企业积极合作,对微生物药物的生产菌株进行工程改造,得到了相应的高产菌株并实现了相应药物的国产化替代。先后主持国家自然科学基金、重庆市自然科学基金、企业合作项目、中央高校科研业务费等6项课题。在等国内外学术期刊发表研究论文30余篇。参编出版专著《Microsporidia - Current Advances in Biology》和《中国养蚕学》,参与《微孢子虫-机会性病原体》著作的翻译,获授权专利2项。
