主要研究领域与方向：

衰老与遗传学。衰老是机体组织功能特征逐渐恶化、生物个体渐渐趋向死亡的一个不可逆的有害过程。衰老和寿命调控是与人类休戚相关的重大生命科学问题，相关研究一直是科研领域中的难点和热点。利用模式动物的研究为基础，解析衰老的遗传和代谢机制，探索延缓衰老及治疗衰老相关疾病的方法。

科学成就：

主持国家自然科学青年基金项目；参研多项国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家自然科学青年基金项目等。
