To promote the academic exchange of sericultural science and the related disciplines around the world, to jointly promote the high-quality development of silk industry, the “3^rd International Symposium on Sericultural Sciences and the 21st Century Silk Road” will be held on October 20^th to 23rd, 2020 in Beibei, Chongqing, China. The organizer has already invited more than 60 oral reports from different countries like American, Canada, Japan, France, UK, China, etc. The related information of the conference is hereby notified as followings, scholars in the sericulture and related biosciences, entrepreneur in silk industry are welcome to participate the conference online and offline. Let’s share the academic feast in the golden fall in this beautiful mountain-city!

1. Theme

The theme of this conference is “Sericultural Sciences and silk Industry Innovation”, to communicate together on the latest progress of sericultural sciences and the latest trend of silk industry. The conference will set up a forum based on the topic “Development of the Sericultural Science and Silk Industry”.

1). Way to Register

Participants please fill in the Participants Receipt Form (Annex 3) and send it to silkroad2020@yeah.net on or before Sep. 30^th, so that organizers could get information of participants on time and then provide better service.  Participants who couldn’t register in time could also register on-site on the Registration Day. We’d like to remind that participants who will come onsite should show your health code when registering. Participants from foreign countries are strongly suggested to participate the conference online. Participates who are in China could choose to participate the conference online or offline. But participates who are from areas of high risk in China, please participate the conference online.

2). Details about payment

This conference will be held online and offline, organizers will request some amount of registration fee to make sure a good result of the conference. Registration fee will cover the conference materials and meals. Traffic expenses and accommodation fee are at participants’ own expense. Participants could pay registration fee by the way of Bank Transfer, Post office remittance and cash on-site. 6. Documents Submission

1). Abstract: Participant who will make a presentation and poster display needs to provide your Conference Abstract (language in English, format please refer to the attachment Annex1). Number of words should be within 500 words, content of the conference abstract should include title, author, institute, e-mail address of the corresponding author, abstract, key words, etc. Please name your Abstract file as “Abstract+full name of first author”, and please send the file to  silkroad2020@yeah.net on or before Sep. 30^th, 2020. Content of the oral report needs to be reviewed by the academic committee of the conference, and the organizing committee will notify the reporter by email if the application of making a presentation is approved. Language of the report is English, and the PPT should also be in English.

2). Poster: All Posters of this conference will be displayed online, participants who will give a poster display please send the electronic file (format please refer to Annex 2) to  silkroad2020@yeah.net on or before Sep. 30^th, 2020. Please name your poster file as “Poster+full name of first author”, the file should be in pdf. All posters should not be involved in confidential content.

7. Traffic

On Oct. 20^th, 2020, reception group of the organizer will arrange volunteers to consult and guide the traffic at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport.  

Traffic Line 1: Take the subway at the airport or train station, transfer to line 6, get off at Zhuangyuanbei Stop, walk out from exit 1C, you will find Haiyu hotel after 3 minutes walking.

Traffic Line 2: Get to the destination by calling a taxi.
