科学成就:

从事生物学基础研究,在干细胞调控肿瘤发生及发展的机制研究上取得了原创性发现。获重庆市自然科学二等奖1项。以通讯或第一作者在Nature Cell Biology, Cell Reports,Cell Metabolism,Cancer Research,Oncogene,Neuro-Oncology,Molecular Cancer Therapeutics,American Journal of Pathology, Journal of Biology Chemistry等国际重要期刊发表SCI论文50余篇,影响因子达到290分,SCI源文章他引次数达到800余次,单篇引用率130次。编著《干细胞生物学》教材一部,并获重庆市出版工艺专项基金资助。主持973课题、国家基金、高等博士学科点基金、国家留学基金等,项目经费超过1000万元。积极开展了中英、中美和中澳合作,成功主办2011干细胞与转化研究国际论坛,以特邀报告人参加多次国际会议。为自然科学基金和科技部重点专项基金等的评审专家。同时被聘为《Oncotarget (6.359)》、《Neuro-Oncology(5.331)》, 《 Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (3.45)》、《Journal of Insect Physiology (2.47)》等SCI杂志审稿人。

以家蚕基因组生物学国家重点实验室为依托平台,主持建立了家蚕干细胞研究技术平台,将家蚕拓展延伸为医学模式生物,开展人类癌症、退行性、代谢性疾病模型的研究。实现医学转化。
